JINSEI KYOTO Check-in

A guest registration and records tool for short-stay accommodation. This site explains how the app works and how it handles data.

Before arrival and at check-in

  1. Guests with an invitation can prepare registration details for everyone staying.
  2. Authorized accommodation staff review the details and may ask for corrections. When a passport copy is required, staff can review it through the private workspace.
  3. Staff check each guest's identity in person at arrival. Submitting details or passing a document review does not complete that check.
  4. Staff maintain the statutory guest register and retain required records under the applicable rules.

Why the app connects to Google Drive

The operator authorizes the app to create and manage applicable document files in a dedicated private Drive folder. The app uses per-file access so it can store, verify, retrieve and delete the files it manages. Guests do not connect their own Google accounts.
